I am also lazy and easily overwhelmed and in possession of a very short attention span. Look, something sparkly! So, here's this blog. Something a little more remedial for me to poke at, to get in the habit of staying on top of these things while getting my HTML and CSS in check. It's really abismal. I am a shame to nerdy kids everywhere who grew up toying with such things.
The name is a play on some lyrics from Jawbreaker's song Ashtray Monument. Originally I had planned to call the site Waiting in Cement, as the song says, but when I told my boyfriend about it he asked if I'd said "wading" - I decided that might be better. Some lightheartedness or what have you. Yeah.
And yes, I do realize that the site address and the blog name do not match, but I'm craaaazy! When I signed up for blogspot oh so long ago, that was the name I chose. I like it, so it stays. The crowd rejoices.
